Compassionate Hospice and COVID-19

Hello Health Partners,

As our community works to minimize the spread of the coronavirus, Compassionate Hospice continues to support patients and families in the Denver Metro area with exceptional end-of-life care, grief support, and education. We have been serving this community for over ten years, and we are here for you.
Patient care
The health of our patients, staff, volunteers, and community members is our priority, and we are monitoring and following the recommendations of the CDC.
We are continuing to provide patient care, with all necessary precautions. As always, we have an RN available by phone 24/7.
Patients residing in ALF's or SNF'S
Compassionate Hospice will work with your community, making sure we are following all facility guidelines and limitations. Proper PPE will be worn at all times to ensure the safety of all residents. If your community has limited visitation, we can provide telehealth flexibility.
We are accepting new patients. If you or someone you know may be considering hospice, please call us at 303-465-0944. Or fax us at 303-465-0899.
Important information for our patients, families and communities:
  • Your nurse case manager will be checking in with you regularly to assess your needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 303-465-0944.
  • If an in-person visit is deemed necessary, our staff will ask screening questions in advance to determine if anyone in the family may have been exposed to COVID-19. Any family members exhibiting respiratory symptoms are requested to move to a separate room during our visit.
  •  We are equipped with all of the necessary PPE, to give care to patients with COVID-19 or patients that show symptoms.
Grief support
In compliance with the stay in place order and for the health of our community, we have cancelled or postponed all in-person encounters with Chaplains, but they are available via telephone at 303-465-0944.
During uncertain times, it’s normal to want someone to talk to. For hospice-specific grief and/or loneliness, please consider these resources for phone support at 303-465-0944. Our MSW's are always available to speak with patients and their families via telephone or telehealth.

Compassionate Hospice has always been known for the compassionate care we provide — not only for our patients, families, and community but also for one another. In this time of uncertainty, that compassion and kindness is all the more needed.
